Small preferences. Clear choices.
Saved guides stay on your browser. Google AdSense code is also included, and Google advertising can involve cookies and similar technologies.
What the site stores
The Save guide control uses local storage under adwSaved to remember article identifiers. This is a browser preference rather than an account or a server side reading history. The adwPrivacy key remembers your choice in the Privacy choices panel. Neither value is sent to an advertiser by this version of the site.
Google advertising technologies
Google AdSense code is loaded from Google. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies and similar technologies, subject to the account configuration, applicable law and consent choices. These technologies can involve ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and personalization. A request to Google can occur when the code loads even if an ad is not displayed. The website does not include a separate third party analytics script, embedded social feeds or a newsletter form. Editorial photographs are served from local site assets.
Infrastructure services
The hosting platform may use essential cookies or related technology for service security, access control or an owner only preview. Those services may process standard technical information under their own terms. Browser tools can show the cookies and storage associated with the domain you are visiting.
Managing your preferences
Use Privacy choices in the footer to clear your saved guides. This local panel does not manage Google advertising consent. Where an advertising consent message is provided, use its controls to review or change advertising choices. You can also use Google My Ad Center at Google My Ad Center and browser controls for cookies. Clearing local website data removes your saved reading list from that browser. The publication does not restore a deleted local list because it is not stored in a user account.
Advertising consent configuration
The operator must configure the advertising account, regional notices and consent controls before serving ads where those requirements apply. A Google certified consent management platform is required for relevant Google advertising in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Including the AdSense script and this policy does not itself configure that platform. The local saved guide panel is not a substitute for advertising consent controls.
